(Note that this installation is identical to an installation from a disk that we would have sent you in the past, including all the same on-screen documentation from us and the IRS.)
If your installation doesn't complete... it is most likely caused by the Anti-Virus or Anti-malware software you use. Following are a couple of tips to get around the problem.
GETTING PAST SOME ANTI-VIRUS WARNINGS...
A warning may come up, click Show more, then choose KEEP ANYWAY.
Wait, then a blue box may open. Read the text, click on more info, then click on run anyway.
You may get a box that asks to be "allowed"..say YES.
YOU MAY HAVE TO TEMPORARILY DISABLE YOUR ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE...
All anti-virus programs have some means of doing this. Doing so solves installation problems caused by overly aggressive protection.
Some anti-virus programs let you set the amount of time you want your
protection bypassed. Others require you to manually reactive the protection.
